Benefits:

1) What are the benefits of Mobile Trading via a PDA?

It provides convenient access to Bursa Malaysia real time share prices, Bursa Malaysia indices, stock tracker, favourite stock list and share trading when you are on the move, anytime, anywhere.

2) What is PDA Connect/m*Trade@CIMB?

These are applications to be installed in your PDA and mobile phone to allow you to access Bursa Malaysia real time stock prices via your gadgets.

3) What is the difference between PDA Connect and m*Trade@CIMB?

Both applications allow you access to the Bursa Malaysia stock prices, Bursa Malaysia indices, stock tracker, favourite list and share trading. The difference between the two is that PDA Connect is installed in your PDA; and m*Trade@CIMB on your handphone.

How To Get Started:

1) What do I need to do before I can use PDA Trading?

You need to open a trading account with CIMB Investment Bank Berhad. Click here for more details FAQs <Opening of Account>

2) Do I have free trial access to PDA Trading?

Yes, you will enjoy a 7 day free trial access.

3) How do I place my order should the GPRS dysfunctions?

You may log on to www.itradecimb.com and place your order online. Alternatively, you may call your dealer representative to place the order.

4) How can I check order status conducted via PDA Trading?

You can check your order status real time via your PDA by selecting Order Status -> Pending Orders.

Charges:

1) Do I need to pay for PDAConnect and m*Trade@CIMB eventually?

Yes. If you wish to continue the service after the free trial period, you will need to pay RM50 for PDAConnect and RM20 for m*Trade@CIMB per month. Active users are encouraged to sign up a contract with N2N to enjoy lower monthly charges. Please refer here <subscription form>

2) How much is the brokerage for matched orders placed via the PDA?

The brokerage rate will be similar to the rate charged when using internet orders.

How to Install:

Step 1:	Activate and configure GPRS. Contact your telecommunications provider for setting details and coverage options.
Step 2:	For Maxis users only, you are required to perform one-time registration with your telecommunications provider. Type a sms "reg <space> msl" and send to 36688 to enable you to receive SMS service.
Step 3:	Proceed with the over-the -air (OTA) downloading process.

Step 4:	Choose your sponsor for CIMB Investment Bank Berhad application.
Step 5:	Choose your pda brand & model to download PDAConnect.
Step 6:	For registration, type msl <space> reg and send it to 36688* / +6017 321 5328*
Step 7:	An activation code will be sent to you via sms. Launch the application and enter your mobile number as well as the activation code to start PDAConnect.
