1) What is the minimum system requirement to access i*Trade@CIMB?
Internet enabled personal computer, minimum Pentium II @ 200MHz, 64MB RAM, resolution 800 x 600, 56.6k Modem with Internet "Explorer 5.5 or higher & Java Virtual Machine.i*Trade@CIMB will not function properly on Netscape Navigator.

3) What is Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)?

over the Internet. The SSL protocol protects HTTP transmissions by
adding a layer of encryption. This ensures that all transactions are
not subject to "sniffing" by a third party.
4) What can I do to safe-keep the security of my account?
Below are a few recommended precautionary steps you may wish to take:
Do not reveal your password/PIN to anyone.
Do not write down your password/PIN where someone can find or figure out.
5) What happens if my attempt to log on fail after several tries?
If you key-in the wrong password three times consecutively, your user ID will be deactivated. You will need to contact our Retail Equities
Unit officers at (603) 2084 9890 and answer specified verification
questions in order to reactivate your User ID.
6) What happens if I forget my password?
Please call our Retail Equities Unit officers for assistance Or
You may click on <Forgot Password> to retrieve a hint to your password.
On this screen, you are required to key in your user ID, a hint will be prompted
Answer the hint & system will automatically regenerate 6-digit code which will be sent to your assigned e-mail address.
Upon receiving with the newly generated 6-digit code, you will then need to log on and change this 6-digit code to a new password.
